Stemmen met een andere nationaliteit

Wil je stemmen op de Nederlandse leden van het Europees Parlement? En heb je de nationaliteit van een ander land uit de Europese Unie? Dan mag je kiezen om in Nederland te stemmen of in het land van herkomst.
Stemmen in Nederland
Als je wilt stemmen in Nederland, moet je het formulier ‘Verklaring stemmen voor Europees Parlement in Nederland (Y32)’ invullen. Met dit formulier verklaar je dat je niet in een ander land gaat stemmen. Je mag namelijk maar 1 keer stemmen voor het Europees Parlement.
Je kunt het formulier op verschillende manieren invullen:

Je hebt hier een DigiD-inlogcode voor nodig! - Per post. Je kunt het formulier downloaden, uitprinten en opsturen naar de gemeente Weert, Postbus 950, 6000 AZ Weert, t.a.v. team verkiezingen of afgeven bij de balie in het stadhuis. Voor de contactgegevens en openingstijden, zie de pagina 'Contact'.

De gemeente moet het formulier op zijn laatst 23 april 2024 ontvangen.Het formulier is in het Nederlands. Op de website van de Rijksoverheid zijn ook de vertalingen te vinden naar het Duits, Engels, Frans, Italiaans, Pools en Spaans.

Stemmen in het land van herkomst
Wil je stemmen in het EU-land waar je vandaan komt? Dan hoef je dit niet aan ons door te geven. Kijk op de website van het Europees Parlement of je jezelf moet registreren in jouw land.
Would you like to vote for the Dutch members of the European Parliament, and are you a national of another Member State of the European Union? You may choose to vote in the Netherlands.
Voting in the Netherlands
If you want to vote in the Netherlands, you must fill in a form: ‘Declaration of voting for the European Parliament in the Netherlands (Y 32)’. On this form, you declare that you are not voting in another country. You may only vote for the European Parliament once.
You can fill out the form in several ways:
- By a digital form:
Form 'Declaration of voting for the European Parliament in the Netherlands (Y 32)’ You need a DigiD-login! - By post. You can download, fill it out and print the form via Declaration of voting for the European Parliament in the Netherlands (Y 32) and send it to the municipality of Weert, Postbus 950, 6000 AZ Weert, attn. team verkiezingen or hand it in at the reception desk during our opening hours.
- You can collect the form and fill it out at the counter of the city hall during our opening hours.
The municipality must receive the completed form at the latest by 23 April 2024.The declaration form is in Dutch. On the website of the central government (Rijksoverheid) you can find translations to English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish.

Voting in your country of origin
